She graduated summa cum laude in 2016 with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Spanish from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Her pre-medical interactions with mentors involved in international medical education/work, her personal experience on a language immersion internship in Guatemala, and her experiences working with local underserved populations in Hawaii encouraged her to pursue a medical specialty that will equip her to serve in a variety of settings. Thanks to her role models and mentors, she plans to pursue residency training in full-spectrum Family Medicine. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, snorkeling, hanging out with family, spontaneous conversations about life, dark chocolate and good coffee.
